When asked , Scott and Brittney have different “first meeting” stories. He says they met their first weekend at WVU and thought, Wow! She has really long legs. Unfortunately, Brittney was not quite as good at remembering names and faces (or legs) … Luckily, she had a little trouble with her first chemistry assignment. Back in 2005, Facebook told you who was in your classes, so she started down the list…. when she received no replies from the people she knew, she sent a message to a guy named Scott Bragg. He was online and he was done with the assignment! She helpfully described who she was and directed him to meet her with , “I live in Stalnaker Hall, second floor, there’s a study lounge on the left. Think you can find it?” … this is when you have to smile — she was mortified to see him leaving his room—just two doors down from her. following her “directions” to the study hall. To this day they still laughed about it…
Scott tells the story on how he proposed … Seven years after meeting at WVU, I wanted to go back to where it all started and pop the question. We had a romantic evening walking down High Street and past the busy nightlife. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner and stopped for cupcakes on the way back, reminiscing about a cupcake food fight we had in 2006. It was incredibly nostalgic for me. It was also the six-and-a-half year anniversary of our first kiss! Then we relived our first romantic walk in front of Stalnaker Hall, and I asked Brittney that most important question, “Will you marry me?” I was so happy when she said yes!
We were excited when Brittney & Scott opted for a “First Look” which we LOVE … Here’s a peek at one of the most beautiful and amazing weddings of the year … hugs to you both and wishing you nothing but happiness in your life together in South Carolina. ~ Francine
Zoe chose to have her senior yearbook photos taken at J&D Cellars Winery and Vineyard in Eighty-Four, PA … unfortunately the rains came and just wouldn’t let up. Did that stop me ~ it may have put a damper on the day and our options were limited, but I was still able to get some amazing images. Here’s a sample of her yearbook photo and how it was shot, plus a few extra … seriously beautiful. Ooh and that’s Laura holding the umbrella over me!!
Kristen ~ Thank you for grabbing this pic of me photographing your daughter… love getting behind the scene shots.
side note : if you are wondering about her eyebrow – that’s a scar and it’s her and she asked that I not remove it ~ and truthfully I give her kudo’s for keeping it.
Here’s a little peek at Perry’s senior photo shoot… what a great time I had and what a great guy he is. Perry… wishing you all the best of in your studies in Neuroscience and Research ~ (I hope I got that right)
They went to the same high school and hung with the same friends, but never met. See Shawn is my son … the one that most would call a wild child during his high school years. Laura — she was the one who enjoyed reading books and was in the choir.
Seven years passed and their paths finally crossed while on a party bus heading to a haunted hay ride. That’s how Shawn met Laura. It was Halloween and she wrapped him in toilet paper and things were never the same… The next day - again with friends, they ended up at McFaddens to watch a Steeler game. Left alone they found that they had a lot in common… from that day on their lives intermixed with one another. A friends party. Dinner out with friends. Our garage (which was where everyone hung out). Then on Christmas they made it official — they were together!!
A little over 2 years later, over a romantic home made dinner of bacon wrapped scallops and candle light ~ Shawn asked Laura to be his wife.
We couldn’t be happier and are looking forward to Laura being an official part of our family this coming year!! Love & Hugs to you both (Mom)
Dawn & I were going to shoot Jordan Yearbook pictures the other day and didn’t have anything else scheduled until later that afternoon so Dawn called Lori and asked if her daughters (Jordan, Sidney and Bailey) would like to go and take some outdoor pictures while the fall leaves were still strong. Now these three have never been camera shy so they said where and when! Dawn & I have taken the girls pictures for the past few years. The three sisters are the nieces of singer B.E. Taylor. The girls have been singing locally for a few years now and also with their Uncle at his Christmas shows. They have talent as well as looks! Defiantly get them from their Mother!
Now of course the whole shoot was almost stolen by Reese! She’s the fourth Taylor daughter. Reese is a Labradoodle. She’s a hugger and way too fun! She really wanted to be in every shot. We had Great fun even with a certain person there…not naming anyone in particular (Bailey). Sorry, … It just slipped out.
Seriously nice photos though!

4th Annual Photo & Breakfast with Santa
Saturday, December 14, 2013
Gil’s Cafe, South Park PA
ALL Proceeds go to Make-A-Wish
We have all been touched one way or another with Make-a-Wish. Two of my nephews, Bob & Dawn’s sons – have each had a wish granted over the years. A close friend had her wish. A cousin of a close friend had his wish … we’ve ALL been there.
Each year we payback to our community by donating our time to some amazing organizations. In December Santa has once again agreed to join forces with the TimeSmartImages Team and Gil’s Cafe for our 4th Annual “Photo & Breakfast with Santa” Photo Shoot.
More info to follow …
How often can you say that you held a butterfly? Not only did the beautiful Lauren hold one – she held it TWICE when it came back to say hello for the second time. That was twice in one day!! You Go Girl…
Side note … this is my third shoot that consisted of a client holding a butterfly!! — 2 seniors and 1 bridesmaid — can you say butterfly whisper…
Even though they went to the same high school, Thomas Jefferson … Marissa and Mike actually didn’t meet until after college at a mutual friend’s house. She caught his eye. He caught her eye. A few weeks of flirting and then on what they call the most romantic day of the year — St Patrick’s Day, they officially began dating! Three and a half years, an adorable puppy and a new house later – Mike proposed…
It was during a beautiful Saturday bike ride around the city with Marissa’s family. They stopped at the Hofbräuhaus in South Side for a quick drink. Somehow Mike was able to pull her away from everyone … as they talked and laughed he guided her down to the river where in complete surprise Mike got down on one knee and asked Marissa to be his wife… with everyone cheering they continued the day celebrating with close family and friends. It was the perfect day!!
Marissa and Mike ~ Dawn and I had so much fun photographing your engagement photos… can’t wait for the wedding!!
